David, It’s fair to say few, if any, will have contributed more to the development of podiatric surgery and bunion correction in the UK. 

Probably the only comprehensive book written about the range of options in podiatry. This book should appeal to anyone who wants to understand more about the podiatry professional, not just a book covering feet, but people who help those in pain, with deformities, and those who have conditions that put their feet at risk. Over forty podiatrists tell their stories from forty different perspectives.

Given the wealth of rubbish and misleading information now available, it seemed about right that I would offer my own readers something they could trust.

Few works, academic or otherwise, have attempted to bring to life the period of intense change that occurred in the late 1970s and early 1980s, signalling the shift from ‘chiropody’ to ‘podiatry’.

This book should be useful for all health professionals, whether podiatrists, medical students, general practitioners or nurses. The book contains clear descriptions of anatomy, physiology and pathology in relation to the foot and is illustrated by clear line drawings.
