Professional Books

Having published many academic papers since 1978, David has now turned to writing for patients as well as professionals. Please also look at health and the guides for more information.

He was formerly a consultant podiatric surgeon and has worked for the NHS and independent sector during a career spanning over forty years. He has travelled and lectured widely abroad and at home.  In 2014, he created his first website, ‘consultingfootpain’ – a patient/public interface covering a variety of health problems leading to self-publishing under Busypencilcase Communications.

Short articles and blogs have formed the basis of several of his current books, which include working with professional organisations and Universities. You can read about many aspects of foot health and medical problems by selecting articles on the menu bar, where it shows MORE.

Busypencilcase Communications commenced in 2015 as part of David’s self-publishing activities and supported his original website consultingfootpain. His motto remains - ‘Progress through the art of communication,’ which he maintains is important behind the ethos of writing for an audience.
