My professional career began in 1978, focused on podiatric education and academic research. I’ve worked across the NHS and private sector, authored countless clinical articles, and contributed to major medical publications.

Today, I write for a broader audience—offering insights not only for health professionals but also for patients seeking accurate, honest information about foot health and musculoskeletal conditions.

In 2014, I created my first website, ‘consultingfootpain’ – a patient/public interface covering a variety of health problems led to self-publishing through Busypencilcase Communications, transforming complex topics like foot lumps, heel pain, and other foot-related medical conditions into accessible resources.
